You deserve what you put out there.
Everyone feels entitled to something but there needs to be an evaluation of your actions before you feel like you deserve it.
Expectations are the worst, it can lead to disappointments and feelings of unworthiness.
Expecting and deserving can be mistaken because one feels like they deserve a type of behavior and expect it to happen but that usually leaves one unhappy.
Try not to commingle the two feelings, it can take you to a territory you don’t want to be a part of.
Think about why you deserve something as oppose to feeling why they should do something.
No one SHOULD do something to satisfy your needs and you only DESERVE behaviors that you earn.
I would think compartmentalizing these feelings would be easier as an adult, but it’s not. It’s just harder. 🙂
