My favorite article of clothing.
One of my Christmas presents didn’t fit so well so I had to return it. I ended up getting a gift card for the credit for a future purchase. I was searching the site for months and came across this colorful fun sweater. This is my second time wearing it now this year and I’m always getting compliments.
I personally love rainbows and it so happens to be that this is #PrideMonth. I waited all month to wear it so I can celebrate at the tail end. I wear rainbow things because I love it, not specifically for pride but because it’s whimsical.
Home sweet home, this scent makes coming home that much more enjoyable.
I got this pair somewhere around 2007 and I wore the hell out of them. They were so bad that I didnt’ want to pay a fortune to get it fixed and was too much of a hoarder to throw away. I probably moved with these shoes about five times and haven’t worn them for maybe 10 years. They were so beautiful when I first saw them in the store and I could not resist them. My dumbass can never take good care of anything so the fish net part ripped from the piping and the heels are all scuffed up. It’s funny because ont the box, the shoes were less than $600 and now if they were new, they’d be over $1,200!
I had some crystals at home for an art project and decided I’d do some DIY stuff. I sat there for 3 hours glueing each crystal on the perimeter of the piping. I realized I needed to do two lines since the rip was pretty big.
I was nervous at first because I didn’t want to mess it up, but realized it didn’t matter because no one would be that close to my feet anyway. It ended up being super easy and the shoes look fantastic.
Now that I’ve found a hobby, I’m searching through my house to see what else I can crystallize!
I got this art a while ago and I love it. I have it in my bathroom so I have a daily reminder I need to be aware of my food portions. #nothingtastesasgoodasskinnyfeels
Is there such thing a perfume swap? Like closet swap where friends swap clothes that they don’t wear from their closet? I have perfumes that I loved but not so crazy about them now. I haven’t worn this in so long and I actually forgot about it until we moved. It a great scent to wear again… light, crisp with a little bit of a floral/musk scent. As I get older I’m starting to like the musky scents.
Bear got lucky and won these very desireable sneakers and I of course wanted to take a photo with it. Who’s trying to get a pair?
I never win anything. So when I won the luxury perfume bottle from #HouseofSillage, I was enthralled with excitement. By winning the social media post campaign, I won a bottle of my choice! Hauts Bijoux!!
I discovered this bottle when I was in New York at Bergdorf Goodman buying Diana Vreeland’s Outrageous Simply Divine. If I hadn’t already bought my other expensive bottle, I would’ve bought House of Sillage… I mean, how could I NOT? Look at the gorgeous packaging!
Thank you so much House of Sillage for picking me! This is my favorite scent in their collection. I can’t wait to wear it out and discover additional scents by this perfumer!
I had a gift card for a complimentary facial at Kate Somerville which was going to expire in April. It was two days before the end of March and I called to make an appointment.
I was nervous about arriving because I know how some of these shee shee places get. Rude employees and horrible attitude usually, however I was surprised by their welcoming gesture. I filled out my forms and was escorted to a room for my signature facial.
I will say, I enjoyed every second of the experience. The massage I received was a nice complement.
I only found out about them because of my friend Catalina, and have started falling in love with all their products, one by one.
I got this as a gift and I finally tried it this week. First of all, the scent of this is hypnotizing. Just like the red velvet flavor of a Sprinkles cupcake. The second I twisted the jar open, the whiff of the smell just brightened my day.
I scooped a generous amount (as stated) with my index nail and followed the directions… rubbed in circular motion on my lips. I tried so hard not to eat it but I had to taste it and it didn’t even taste bad. I was pleasantly surprised but the application. I wondered during those couple of minutes I was scrubbing on how my lips would feel after.
After I wiped it off with a towel, I washed it off since I was in the shower. I was still mesmerized by the scent that I didn’t want to stop rubbing it into my lips. My first time every trying a lip scrub, so I didn’t know what to expect.
As the jar states… something like “you’ll wonder why you never used it before” I can’t remember exactly but that’s my takeaway. lol
This post is from my first visit. I end up saving all these drafts and never getting to it. Sorry!
Anyway, you know my obsession with washrooms if you follow me on social media.
I LOVE this washroom because everyone has their own private stall. Complete walls and real doors. The only thing I miss is the wall of hand towels like the one in NY. New York, I miss you!
I haven’t been in a week or two, time for me to go back.
I got a bunch of masks from Bear when he went to Korea. He’s been begging me to try this one and finally after a year I did. I did like that it was a 2-piece set. Easier to put on. I do like masks but I feel like my skin feels great for the evening… This however comes with a cream you apply on your face before you put on the gold creepy thing.
After 20 minutes, you discard the mask and apply the rest of the cream. The cream is what’s amazing. I’m not sure if the mask is used to keep the moisture from evaporating… however my skin never felt better. Even throughout the night, into the morning until I took a shower and washed my face. However my skin feels much better days after this mask than any other.
