LAX -> KCI

I had to change my flight to fly out on Friday instead of Thursday to Kansas since I had been out of the office for a week in Paris.

Bear’s brother got married over the weekend in Missour/Kansas. The ceremony was held in a beautiful Catholic church and the reception was at the Kansas City Country Club near the Country Club Plaza.

It was an amazing weekend with the in-laws and especially with my husband.

He had been gone all summer and things got a little rough but I think we’re finding our way back. Cheers to Q4 and the near end of 2017!

How To Eat A Drumstick @GusFriedChicken

My vlog went live last week and while I was editing the video, I realized how much I craved Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken.

We visited the location while we were in Kansas in December. We were there for a wedding and I really wanted to do a feature on a non-LA establishment. However, during our meal, the waitress informed us that Gus’s opened an LA location.

Now I’ll have to go visit!

Night Out @Porsche

I never liked the #Porsche Cayenne but whenever we’re in Kansas and we get to drive around in Bear’s mom’s automobile, I love it.

It has the light interior with a white exterior. Drives well and very roomy.

Would I ever get one for myself? Probably not, I still prefer the Range Rover as my #1 SUV.

My husband turn 30 few weekends ago. I asked him what he wanted to do and he said, “I want to go to Kansas.”

Okay.

So here we were! With his family and friends and enjoying his birthday as if we lived here!

It was relaxing and nice. My gf JL and her bf JH came from NY to celebrate it with us.

Happy 30th Bear!

Obsessed @BaldwinDenim @StandardStyleKC

The reason I love to visit my husband’s family in Leawood is because of Baldwin and Standard Style.

My plaid coat I had last year is from Baldwin and now they have this amazing piece for winter! I’m dying for this right meow. I’ll have to convince my husband to get it for me!

Visit to @KUnews

My husband’s old stomping grounds… We visited KU for the second time. This time not for a basketball game. I also found out that basketball was started at KU.

We stopped by the bookstore and bought $400 worth of goods! Now we can take it back to LA with us!

Too bad it was raining… Luckily they sold umbrellas too! At least I got my steps in.

We ate at The Underground. Bear said it was his favorite place to eat. The chicken crunchy wrap… I had the veggie and after we stopped by Pizza Shuttle of course!

I love Kansas!
