I won an IG contest, which I never win anything so you can imagine how excited I was… I smelled this perfume on one of my NY trips at Barneys and fell in love however I couldn’t justify the cost. I ended up buying a Diana Vreeland bottle for a little over half the cost.
I kept dreaming of getting this bottle one day because the packaging was beautiful and the scent was mesmerizing.
I wore it for the first time today finally; I’m celebrating my birthday again tonight with my #BabesWhoDine colleagues and thought it was the perfect occasion.
I sprayed it early this am after my shower and I can smell it on myself throughout the day. I love scents and feel that every woman should be complimented by her scent. I love long-lasting scents especially and even more so when the scent comes in shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion.
Three cycles ago, I decided to forgo the tampon situation and use a menstrual cup. I started off with the small (after reading the directions)and it arrived when I was mid-cycle. It worked perfectly.
I wore panty liners the first day in case it leaked and realized I didn’t need to at the tail end of my cycle. My 2nd cycle, I wore it the entire time and wore a heavy pad for when I slept and the first few days just in case. It didn’t leak when I slept, I’m assuming because I was parallel however all day I felt it leak. Thank god I wore pads! By the 3rd cycle, I didn’t want it to leak because it felt disgusting so I got a larger size. I am super heavy the first couple of days and every time I went to pull it out it was overflowing and filled to the max.
I’m not sure if I’m doing it right or if I’m just bleeding too much by the 3rd cycle, I was hoping to have it down but I didn’t. It leaked again when I was out and about but not when I slept. I just ended my 3rd cycle so I’ll have to wait but so far I love it. Even with the leaking. I’m okay wearing a pad for the first two days and panty liners thereafter.
Thinking back, I can’t imagine the cotton ball that was stuck up my thing for however long. There must be lint residue from it and it totally doesn’t sound or feel sanitary. I am hoping to not leak because either I can wear it properly or I can dump the period one more time in the day. But that’s the hard part. I can’t be dumping blood and cleaning my cup in a public bathroom!
I have 3 weeks to figure it out. The best part about this is that I don’t ever have to buy tampons again!
I got this as a gift and I finally tried it this week. First of all, the scent of this is hypnotizing. Just like the red velvet flavor of a Sprinkles cupcake. The second I twisted the jar open, the whiff of the smell just brightened my day.
I scooped a generous amount (as stated) with my index nail and followed the directions… rubbed in circular motion on my lips. I tried so hard not to eat it but I had to taste it and it didn’t even taste bad. I was pleasantly surprised but the application. I wondered during those couple of minutes I was scrubbing on how my lips would feel after.
After I wiped it off with a towel, I washed it off since I was in the shower. I was still mesmerized by the scent that I didn’t want to stop rubbing it into my lips. My first time every trying a lip scrub, so I didn’t know what to expect.
As the jar states… something like “you’ll wonder why you never used it before” I can’t remember exactly but that’s my takeaway. lol
I got a bunch of masks from Bear when he went to Korea. He’s been begging me to try this one and finally after a year I did. I did like that it was a 2-piece set. Easier to put on. I do like masks but I feel like my skin feels great for the evening… This however comes with a cream you apply on your face before you put on the gold creepy thing.
After 20 minutes, you discard the mask and apply the rest of the cream. The cream is what’s amazing. I’m not sure if the mask is used to keep the moisture from evaporating… however my skin never felt better. Even throughout the night, into the morning until I took a shower and washed my face. However my skin feels much better days after this mask than any other.
I use overnight pads when I’m most heavy when I sleep. I also use pantyliners during the first couple of days and the last couple of days. I have this weird thing where I stop bleeding for a day and it appears again. And every time, it tricks me. Pantyliners come in handy.
I didn’t know what to expect, I never thought of going organic but after the first use, I’m a bit obsessed.
For me, I don’t know the difference other than to describe how it feels. It felt cleaner if that makes sense. The material was comfortable, I didn’t feel like I was sweating or smelly. The feeling of wearing Rael was a much better experience than Playtex or whatever other brand I’d pick up at the store.
And I’m not just saying this because I was sent this stuff. If you know me, I’m going to be candid about my opinions even if it was for free… it’s typically with food so this is a bit different.
I’ll use it again on my next cycle and see if my opinion stays the same…
The only product I use because I refuse to smell any other way. I love this scent and everything that embodies it. The quality of the product, they way it’s subtle but still aromatic. The home stuff, hair products, body products all have a long lasting smell. People are always asking…
I always say, “a lady should be complimented by her scent.”
Why do people do this? Specifically non Asians? There is a perfectly good chair where the purse can sit. If there isn’t, guess what!? You’re going to have to scoot your little tush up and sit uncomfortably on that chair.
Never ever put your damn purse on the floor, that’s disgusting and REALLY unnecessary.
The last time I used this clutch was at Kelly & Matt’s wedding in Kansas. I left the contents that I didn’t imminently need so here I was cleaning it out tonight. Only handbag that will go with my outfit.
Tomorrow is my company’s holiday party. Excited and nervous. Never can do really well in a large group setting.
I’m not spending money because I can’t. Lol so all my “vintage” stuff came out. What is really considered vintage though. (I looked it up, older than 20 years.)
This clutch is definitely not vintage. It is however old and rarely used.
Contents and why:
Matches – Dual purpose. If you can’t figure out, yo and poopie. I don’t like to in public but if I gotta go… I light a match. It even helps when I walk into a stall that stinks like poopie. Oh! It’s tri-purpose. Not sure if that makes sense because it’s never been used by me! Lol
My skin has been super super dry and it’s been very annoying. flakey skin on the face is not cute and I was getting really irritated. My friends who are into skincare have been suggesting products and though those individual products didn’t work, a combination of them did.
The Argan oil and Murad products were gifted by Catalina…
The rest were from a couple of different people… the two spfs were ones I purchased…
So I always put on the Murad Toner, I then put on either of the oils (Argan and PurOrganic) in the evening before going to bed.
For the day, I put on the toner again, eye cream, spf, AtoPalm and either of the oils.
My skin has softened up and the flakiness has minimized.
My skin felt like sandpaper and now it’s much better!
I saw this jacket on Ladies of London. Although her’s (forgot the American lady’s name that had it on) had the patch on the back as well, I’m still overjoyed about my new varsity jacket!
They have red, blue and gray… in UK sizes. I ordered the small which I believe was 8-10, however my Asian arms are a bit short for it. Still, I’m over the moon about the quality, customer service and expedited service!
This jacket was about $80 + shipping from across the world and I can’t wait to wear it out in public.
It’s perfect for my closet because I LOVE gray and I love personalized, one of a kind pieces!
I don’t usually wear anything in bed, especially when I sleep. However it’s been unbearably cold this winter and I cannot stand waking up at 4:30am freezing my bum off walking to the bathroom in my underoo.
I asked for the CK pajama pants from my Secret Santa with my colleagues and I love them to death! I usually HATE pants when I sleep unless they’re long johns. I had fabric being bunched as I sleep, so the tighter they are the better. The CK ones aren’t super tight, but thin and tight enough where it’s not bothersome.
As for the robe, I like to wear it around the house. Like I said, I am usually just in my underoo, but with the cold weather, I need something other than that!
I was given a bottle of body lotion (thanks Catalina!) I didn’t care to use it until I ran out of all the other lotions I had. (She always graces me with products). I had it in my car and one day I needed lotion…used it and fell in love.
The scent is of a fresh green meadow. And though that may not sound appealing to most of you… and me neither… it’s a scent you can never get sick of and you smell so clean!
It almost reminded me a bit like the scent at the lobby of The Ritz Carlton Grand Lakes in Orlando…
