The last time I used this clutch was at Kelly & Matt’s wedding in Kansas. I left the contents that I didn’t imminently need so here I was cleaning it out tonight. Only handbag that will go with my outfit.
Tomorrow is my company’s holiday party. Excited and nervous. Never can do really well in a large group setting.
I’m not spending money because I can’t. Lol so all my “vintage” stuff came out. What is really considered vintage though. (I looked it up, older than 20 years.)
This clutch is definitely not vintage. It is however old and rarely used.
Contents and why:
Matches – Dual purpose. If you can’t figure out, yo and poopie. I don’t like to in public but if I gotta go… I light a match. It even helps when I walk into a stall that stinks like poopie. Oh! It’s tri-purpose. Not sure if that makes sense because it’s never been used by me! Lol
My skin has been super super dry and it’s been very annoying. flakey skin on the face is not cute and I was getting really irritated. My friends who are into skincare have been suggesting products and though those individual products didn’t work, a combination of them did.
The Argan oil and Murad products were gifted by Catalina…
The rest were from a couple of different people… the two spfs were ones I purchased…
So I always put on the Murad Toner, I then put on either of the oils (Argan and PurOrganic) in the evening before going to bed.
For the day, I put on the toner again, eye cream, spf, AtoPalm and either of the oils.
My skin has softened up and the flakiness has minimized.
My skin felt like sandpaper and now it’s much better!
You know I’m a sucker for anything purple Violet.
My dear husband in New York set his calendar to get me the new release of the Nike Air VaporMax sneakers in Violet!!! They come in the pale and true Violet,
I got the true Violet.
I never ever use hand sanitizers because it leaves my hands feeling dirtier and I just don’t believe it actually sanitizes it. However, I was given this by Catalina and I trust everything she uses so I tried it (after eating Shake Shack).
This thing was impressive! You have to try it to believe it.
Wow, what a feat. After all these years, I’ve finally finished college with a Bachelor of Science in Communications.
As I struggled through the quarters, managing my social, professional and student life, it was apparent that I was almost finishing and it would be too late to quit.
Several, MANY years ago, I realized there wasn’t anything I’ve ever accomplished.
I played the piano for 10 years, played the violin and the flute but didn’t do it enough to stick. I figure skated, but only got to an axle jump. I’ve tried out different jobs, but after two years, I’d quit. I got married and decided to get a divorce…the story goes on.
I knew that I had to graduate college not only for my mom, family, Tyler (especially), but REALLY, for me.
This would be my first accomplishment in life. Hoping that this is a jump start to accomplishing many other things in life.
I always felt insecure about not having a degree, people would ask where I went to school and I would feel dumb for saying I didn’t and trying to justify why. Usually I’d blame my early marriage, but we all know the issue was the fact that I couldn’t get it done.
Now of course, no one asks where I went to school. 😛 But it’s okay, I feel confident, fearless and most of all proud.
Though my mom didn’t really seem that excited for me, all these years she would tell me to finish school and I’d just reply, “I am.” I think the whole online concept was weird for her. She quite didn’t understand the online university and I wasn’t about to explain how now. (Do you know how frustrating it is to show her things on her smartphone?)
Anyway, I am blessed to have been given the time and opportunity to finish my studies.
LA Art Show is always a great idea. One time out of the year where we get to experience and feel things we don’t typically see.
I love art, pop art especially. This year, there were so many amazing pieces that I wanted to take home with me. My favorite being the bear made of what looked like marbles. Little metallic balls joined to create a little teddy. Light as a feather too!
Our company hosts the VIP area and we get to go… what a fun night!
I rushed to get it fixed because I would not be able to deal with a broken nail on my middle finger.
The camo is really growing on me, I almost want to do this every time but imaging the wait, I just want to kill myself.
Getting my mani and pedi has been a luxury. I started when I started my new job at the company about two years ago. I took a break since I couldn’t afford it and would always have to change my polish weekly. It was a chore.
Now it’s a chore to go every three weeks. I try to go once a month because spending $100ish dollars twice a month is not acceptable.
My usual gem mani and regular pedi is $87 +tip, this was $112 +tip.
