I won an IG contest, which I never win anything so you can imagine how excited I was… I smelled this perfume on one of my NY trips at Barneys and fell in love however I couldn’t justify the cost. I ended up buying a Diana Vreeland bottle for a little over half the cost.
I kept dreaming of getting this bottle one day because the packaging was beautiful and the scent was mesmerizing.
I wore it for the first time today finally; I’m celebrating my birthday again tonight with my #BabesWhoDine colleagues and thought it was the perfect occasion.
I sprayed it early this am after my shower and I can smell it on myself throughout the day. I love scents and feel that every woman should be complimented by her scent. I love long-lasting scents especially and even more so when the scent comes in shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion.
It’s crazy how bare my lashes are when they are all removed. I swear I had more lashes than what you see in my IG videos 15 years ago, when I first started to get eyelash extensions. Throughout the years, they obviously got more sparse because of the extensions but somehow my girl manages to place on an abundant amount to make it public worthy. I would never be able to walk around without eyelash extensions, even to give my lashes a break because I look crazy!
My girl uses 15mm length, volume lashes for my eyes. It’s almost like the Ardel Individual Lashes. That is how my eyes are able to transform from bare to full. They last a month for me because I do not wear eye makeup. I feel like with extensions, eye makeup is not necessary.
I also am a believer in keeping my extensions intact with a gel, it’s a brow gel but I use it for my lashes because it hardens it while it’s brushed out. I try to put it on after I wash my face and shower.
My workload at the office has increased substantially. My trips to Vegas has decreased immensely. I started spinning after work to avoid traffic and hoping that this is the year I really get to produce some sort of abs.
Basically, I just want to spend more me time right now than spend time going out and eating and drinking.
Spinning has always been a love of mine, so much that after one class I bought shoes, many many years ago. I started at the Newport location, my home gym and then went to South Bay.
Now with the new classes and bikes, the visual stimulation is really addicting.
I’m still working on winning that bet with Bear so if I go to the gym twice a day, it still counts as two so I’m working on my 175 times a year much quicker. Since I tend to teeter off towards the end of the year…
I didn’t realize this years ago because my love for Vegas was nonexistent but now, I love spinning because it’s just like a Vegas nightclub. It’s dark and the music is bumping. Expect, I’m not dancing and drinking alcohol, I’m doing cardio and chugging water which is the best for me anyway! If I can’t be in Vegas, I’d rather be in spin… omg I think I made a new quote.
Also, I just discovered this #soulcycle teacher who freakin has confetti and sparklers in her class. I’m signing up stat!
Why do people do this? Specifically non Asians? There is a perfectly good chair where the purse can sit. If there isn’t, guess what!? You’re going to have to scoot your little tush up and sit uncomfortably on that chair.
Never ever put your damn purse on the floor, that’s disgusting and REALLY unnecessary.
I’m starting to grow my travel toiletries. I definitely wash my face more often and with the right soap so I started carrying around the Shiseido I’ve had.
To be honest, I’ve really only been using up these things because I’ve had it under my bathroom sink. I’ve been hoarding it for some unknown reason. I was saving it for that one time in the future that I’ll need it… but we know that’s an excuse for hoarding.
We’re moving in May so I want to get rid of anything extra I have so I won’t have to take any extra shit with me. Which works for me because I’m taking better care of my skin due to this.
The last time I used this clutch was at Kelly & Matt’s wedding in Kansas. I left the contents that I didn’t imminently need so here I was cleaning it out tonight. Only handbag that will go with my outfit.
Tomorrow is my company’s holiday party. Excited and nervous. Never can do really well in a large group setting.
I’m not spending money because I can’t. Lol so all my “vintage” stuff came out. What is really considered vintage though. (I looked it up, older than 20 years.)
This clutch is definitely not vintage. It is however old and rarely used.
Contents and why:
Matches – Dual purpose. If you can’t figure out, yo and poopie. I don’t like to in public but if I gotta go… I light a match. It even helps when I walk into a stall that stinks like poopie. Oh! It’s tri-purpose. Not sure if that makes sense because it’s never been used by me! Lol
My skin has been super super dry and it’s been very annoying. flakey skin on the face is not cute and I was getting really irritated. My friends who are into skincare have been suggesting products and though those individual products didn’t work, a combination of them did.
The Argan oil and Murad products were gifted by Catalina…
The rest were from a couple of different people… the two spfs were ones I purchased…
So I always put on the Murad Toner, I then put on either of the oils (Argan and PurOrganic) in the evening before going to bed.
For the day, I put on the toner again, eye cream, spf, AtoPalm and either of the oils.
My skin has softened up and the flakiness has minimized.
My skin felt like sandpaper and now it’s much better!
You know I’m a sucker for anything purple Violet.
My dear husband in New York set his calendar to get me the new release of the Nike Air VaporMax sneakers in Violet!!! They come in the pale and true Violet,
I got the true Violet.
I never ever use hand sanitizers because it leaves my hands feeling dirtier and I just don’t believe it actually sanitizes it. However, I was given this by Catalina and I trust everything she uses so I tried it (after eating Shake Shack).
This thing was impressive! You have to try it to believe it.
Wow, what a feat. After all these years, I’ve finally finished college with a Bachelor of Science in Communications.
As I struggled through the quarters, managing my social, professional and student life, it was apparent that I was almost finishing and it would be too late to quit.
Several, MANY years ago, I realized there wasn’t anything I’ve ever accomplished.
I played the piano for 10 years, played the violin and the flute but didn’t do it enough to stick. I figure skated, but only got to an axle jump. I’ve tried out different jobs, but after two years, I’d quit. I got married and decided to get a divorce…the story goes on.
I knew that I had to graduate college not only for my mom, family, Tyler (especially), but REALLY, for me.
This would be my first accomplishment in life. Hoping that this is a jump start to accomplishing many other things in life.
I always felt insecure about not having a degree, people would ask where I went to school and I would feel dumb for saying I didn’t and trying to justify why. Usually I’d blame my early marriage, but we all know the issue was the fact that I couldn’t get it done.
Now of course, no one asks where I went to school. 😛 But it’s okay, I feel confident, fearless and most of all proud.
Though my mom didn’t really seem that excited for me, all these years she would tell me to finish school and I’d just reply, “I am.” I think the whole online concept was weird for her. She quite didn’t understand the online university and I wasn’t about to explain how now. (Do you know how frustrating it is to show her things on her smartphone?)
Anyway, I am blessed to have been given the time and opportunity to finish my studies.
LA Art Show is always a great idea. One time out of the year where we get to experience and feel things we don’t typically see.
I love art, pop art especially. This year, there were so many amazing pieces that I wanted to take home with me. My favorite being the bear made of what looked like marbles. Little metallic balls joined to create a little teddy. Light as a feather too!
Our company hosts the VIP area and we get to go… what a fun night!
