Getting treatment because my body has been out of funk from all the Vegas!
You know I’m a sucker for anything
My dear husband in New York set his calendar to get me the new release of the Nike Air VaporMax sneakers in Violet!!! They come in the pale and true Violet,
I got the true Violet.
Best hand sanitizer, hands down. Pun intended.
I never ever use hand sanitizers because it leaves my hands feeling dirtier and I just don’t believe it actually sanitizes it. However, I was given this by Catalina and I trust everything she uses so I tried it (after eating Shake Shack).
This thing was impressive! You have to try it to believe it.
Wow, what a feat. After all these years, I’ve finally finished college with a Bachelor of Science in Communications.
As I struggled through the quarters, managing my social, professional and student life, it was apparent that I was almost finishing and it would be too late to quit.
Several, MANY years ago, I realized there wasn’t anything I’ve ever accomplished.
I played the piano for 10 years, played the violin and the flute but didn’t do it enough to stick. I figure skated, but only got to an axle jump. I’ve tried out different jobs, but after two years, I’d quit. I got married and decided to get a divorce…the story goes on.
I knew that I had to graduate college not only for my mom, family, Tyler (especially), but REALLY, for me.
This would be my first accomplishment in life. Hoping that this is a jump start to accomplishing many other things in life.
I always felt insecure about not having a degree, people would ask where I went to school and I would feel dumb for saying I didn’t and trying to justify why. Usually I’d blame my early marriage, but we all know the issue was the fact that I couldn’t get it done.
Now of course, no one asks where I went to school. 😛 But it’s okay, I feel confident, fearless and most of all proud.
Though my mom didn’t really seem that excited for me, all these years she would tell me to finish school and I’d just reply, “I am.” I think the whole online concept was weird for her. She quite didn’t understand the online university and I wasn’t about to explain how now. (Do you know how frustrating it is to show her things on her smartphone?)
Anyway, I am blessed to have been given the time and opportunity to finish my studies.
Now I just need to payoff my school loans.
Bear? Where are you?
LA Art Show is always a great idea. One time out of the year where we get to experience and feel things we don’t typically see.
I love art, pop art especially. This year, there were so many amazing pieces that I wanted to take home with me. My favorite being the bear made of what looked like marbles. Little metallic balls joined to create a little teddy. Light as a feather too!
Our company hosts the VIP area and we get to go… what a fun night!
Been traveling for work and I have my usual suspects with me…
I always do a face mask since I’m in my hotel room alone and watching a show.
And of course my RUBYSTELLA jewelry.
Vintage Dior travel bag, can’t seem to throw it out. I just keep washing and washing it.
I’ve using this forever. Some girl that I’m not friends with anymore got me a brow kit from Anastasia a while back. I never used it until I realized I could use it for my lash extensions.
I ran out finally and ended up buying two for the future. This is the best for eyelashes, it’s gooey and it holds it in place. I put it on after the shower and after I wash my face.
I always go on Mondays… at least 3 times a week on the weekdays before work and either once or both days on the weekend. I need to win that bet.
I got a new mask from Amazon (link below) and decided to try it during my night in Palm Springs. I’m not sure what the exact benefits are, however it made my skin look amazing after and even this am.
I wasn’t sure when I should remove it but I did follow the directions and trashed it after 15-20 minutes. This mask stays wet due to the material so there’s not drying out.
My face has been super dry and rash-y lately, super bothersome… needed to try other things.
I rushed to get it fixed because I would not be able to deal with a broken nail on my middle finger.
The camo is really growing on me, I almost want to do this every time but imaging the wait, I just want to kill myself.
Getting my mani and pedi has been a luxury. I started when I started my new job at the company about two years ago. I took a break since I couldn’t afford it and would always have to change my polish weekly. It was a chore.
Now it’s a chore to go every three weeks. I try to go once a month because spending $100ish dollars twice a month is not acceptable.
My usual gem mani and regular pedi is $87 +tip, this was $112 +tip.
I have been transporting all my protein powders in ziploc bags. So ghetto.
I remember after Tyler grew up (out of formula) they invented this compartment thing for the powders.
I realized I could buy the thing for the babies for my travel needs!
This is going to be perfect!
I deleted my personal facebook a while ago. I hated/hate it.
I recently deleted my facebook page couple months ago. My likes weren’t growing and it was pissing me off. I had given up.
For 2017, I really wanted to focus on my hobby… which is vlogging/blogging/sharing.
I decided to restart a facebook page, though I lost 1000+ followers…
I hope to figure out my existence and grow my social reach.
Now that I’m done with college I hope to have more time for me. 🙂
(Though college was me too!)
