I carry the powder pack (Strawberry lemonade is the best). So necessary.
Every time I visit Catalina, she gives me some kind of skincare. This time around, she gave me a wipe for my face. It was nice, refreshing but it smelled like alcohol.
I’m not sure exactly what it does, but I like to try things out to see if I really like something or not. I’m not familiar with skincare so I’ll take anything!
My trip to NY in August was super eventful. The weather was much better and I experienced an amazing dining experience at The Nomad Hotel. Although it wasn’t truffle season and my gf JL really wanted me to try the truffle pasta.. we figured I’d be back soon enough to try it next time! We had frosé, saw sapphires and enjoyed the tolerable weather… way better than my trip before.
My next NY trip is in October, less than a month away and another in November… I’m excited to be back with my fur!
Catalina gave me this to try. My lazy ass didn’t want it, but I still brought it home.
I got tanned by Pure Organic Tan this week and I totally forgot when it was time to wash up…
I was done washing my face when I realized I was dripping water all down my neck, check, arms to elbows. Luckily this self tanner came into play and saved the day.
I rubbed it all over my water spots to cover up the mistakes…
Thank you Catalina for this product!
For those of you who know me, I don’t care for my skin care regimen.
I don’t usually wash my face at night. I don’t wear moisturizer. I don’t wear SPF.
Well, I have been more lately but until about few months ago, I didn’t.
I have been using this now for two days… TWO DAYS ONLY and my skin feels fucking amazing!
It was the grand opening of the observation deck at #SkySpace #USBankTower in DTLA. I had it in my calendar months ago for the slide and about two weeks prior, I went on the site to get tickets. I wished I had a go pro but I didn’t need one at all. I was upset at the fact that we weren’t able to hold anything (phone) in our hands while sliding down. The cool part about it was that they took a photo of you coming down the slide. Just like at an amusement park! When we had all came down, we went to the kiosk to look at the photos. Of course, mine was the only one that wasn’t showing. They tried to mess with it for over 15 minutes and then I asked to speak to a manager. I nicely said, “I waited in line for over an hour and paid $30 to go down a slide and not be able to get a photo? I’d like to go down again.” He obliged and took me back to the slide, cut in front of the crowd and I got to go on again! This time, my photo came out! I was most appreciative of their accommodation and so happy that we as a family got to experience such an amazing part of our city. The space is beautiful and the views are breathtaking. Even my husband who’s scared of heights enjoyed the visit. I can’t wait to come again and go down the slide over and over again when there is no line!
Every time I have to go to Calabasas for work, I stop by Health Nut. I even bought their spicy dressing to have with my salads at home. The problem is, I never have salads at home. 😛
If you’re in the valley, this place is a must visit. Owned by Koreans, a favorite of the Kardashians and great healthy options! But… their salad dressing is the best!

Dinner was amazing. I discovered this new (new for me) kbbq item and I fell in love. Now if all the places carried it, I would totally eat kbbq all the time. AND I hear it’s good for women. Watch the video and find out!
I know most people don’t do spicy. And I must say, it’s a little sad. Spice is good for you. It can prevent heart attacks and strokes, cancer prevention, lower blood pressure, weight loss and boosts serotonin. So says the article below:
If you can’t start with something really potent, try this salsa… in small doses since it’s really spicy. But if you’re putting it on a burrito or eating it with chips, you’ll enjoy it. Even my white husband can enjoy it. Very little at a time, but from his mouth, “it has good flavor!”
I’ve gotten henna twice before and I loved it. The only bad thing is that it doesn’t come off all at the same time. Towards the end of the week, it can start to look a little dirty. I was leaving for NY on Wednesday so I thought it would be a good idea to get it the Sunday before. No client meetings at the office and I’d be gone half the week. People assume that henna is black, but only when it is applied. Once it dries and peels off, it becomes burgundy. I wished it stayed as dark as it does in my photo.
I’ve tried two different places. Each place is different and offer contrasting quality. My go to place is in Artesia. They have the best quality I’ve experienced so far (yes, I’ve only been to one other). It’s darker, dries quicker, I can take it off quicker… etc.

My trip to Las Vegas was short lived. Not that that was a bad thing. It’s actually the way to do it. I had all day Sunday to recoup and I needed it. I literally slept all day. I woke up twice to eat, but that’s about it. I arrived late evening on Friday, had a quick bite and joined my friend and his boss at Marquee. His boss came in on a helicopter with his wife for their six year anniversary + another couple. Just the four of them. How exciting and fun is that? They danced and drank and by the looks of it, they had a really great time. It made me think… Bear and I would never do something like that… he hates the club!
That was the first part of the night, the second part was at my friend’s table once the rest of his friends arrived. We drank and danced and tried to go to Drai’s but didn’t make it in… will not say why. When we got out of the hotel to get back to our rooms, the sun was out. We slept for a few hours and headed to the day club.
I originally went to join my friend because… well I missed Vegas. And he was there for work. I’m already thinking about when I could go back… hopefully in June! 🙂 😛
