I love my new laptop case! I offered Bear my camp laptop bag because he has more use for it than I…
This is perfect for my small laptop + legal notepad and other stuff!
A week after I got back from London, Tyler and I joined Bear in NYC. It was our first trip together to the city. Tyler had already been there with his other family a few times and with school. Bear had to go to NY the day after we got back from London for training and we joined him on his 3rd week there.
Too bad the weather was shitty because it rained most of the time.
I have never been to the UK. One thing on my bucket list was to go to Monaco for the Grand Prix but scheduling and $$$ was a factor. As a substitue, we ended up getting tickets to the Grand Prix in Silverstone, UK. We used the Fourth of July holiday to take the vacation while I was working and Bear was transitioning from his old job to his new one.
We stayed in Shepard’s Bush and went to Paris for a day. It was an exciting time since the UK had made it to the top something for World Cup. We got to experience London and Paris during the last final games of the World Cup. The energy was UNREAL.
The best part of the trip was the F1 race of course. My future ex-husband Lewis Hamilton did not win the race in his home country but he made it to 2nd on the podium after a bump right after takeoff.
I can’t wait to go to all the F1 races in the future!!!
As for London, I’m okay with never coming back. It was just another version of New York with mediocre food.
One week in London before Bear goes off to work in NY at his new job! Excited to be finally visiting!
We scheduled our trip around the Silverstone F1 race on Sunday… can’t wait to share my experience with you all!
I was flying over Vegas and I had #FOMO!
My favorite go to bag for everything. This bag is used as my two-a-day JIM bag for my 2nd workout of the day. Although I only did that for a month… when I start back up, it’ll be the same. I ended up getting a Jim bag from MZ Wallace too that is purple a reflective… that’ll be my main gym bag. I almost also feel like they may have gotten the idea to name their bag through me! 😛 Maybe I should stop tagging companies until I have my sh*t copyrighted. JK!
Anyway, we went to the beach to get some sun in Manhattan Beach, our favorite. We packed a blanket, towels, waters and speakers. Laid out for about 1.5 hours and got a good color. Bear ended up getting burned but he didn’t peel, just became tan after.
It’s crazy to think that life was so different…20, 15, 10, 5, 1 year ago.
My tagline for my blog… “riches to rags and dealing with it” was my way of handling the downward spiral of my life… fiscally. As for my morale and overall happiness, it has definitely been an upward bound. Never in a million years did I think that I’d be able to be in a situation where I was able to pay for my own luxury car. The two slips below are the BMWs that were leased under my name. Granted I was with an exer and the car was initially for him, my mom ended up covering the payments when they car came back to me. This is a funny sidenote… I remember that loser tried to claim that it was “his” car but covering the rest of the name minus the B to prove it. First of all, without credit in this country, you are nothing.
My situation right now isn’t ideal. I’m still working, however I am able to take accountability in the monetary choices I make. I think hard before a purchase. If my cart starts off at $2,000, by the time I actually purchase something, it has dwindled down to one item or nothing at all.
I’m completely transparent with Bear because he’s been the one really assisting me in keeping me accountable. If I don’t money, I don’t have money. I need to budget and allocate accordingly.
Life is completely unexpected.
One of my favorite hobbies… getting a new car!
Ask for Yi Wen or Brandon Kim at Irvine BMW!
I had to change my flight to fly out on Friday instead of Thursday to Kansas since I had been out of the office for a week in Paris.
Bear’s brother got married over the weekend in Missour/Kansas. The ceremony was held in a beautiful Catholic church and the reception was at the Kansas City Country Club near the Country Club Plaza.
It was an amazing weekend with the in-laws and especially with my husband.
He had been gone all summer and things got a little rough but I think we’re finding our way back. Cheers to Q4 and the near end of 2017!
We left Vegas at 6pm and got home around 8pm. We took a nap for an hour and I packed quickly to go to New York.
Our flight to NY was at 11:30pm and we landed at 8:30am on Sunday. Bear is temporarily moving to NY for 10 weeks and it didn’t hit me until I got in my Uber to leave for the airport on Monday evening.
Bear’s friend was getting married in Vegas and their respective bachelor/bachelorette parties were held prior to the wedding day. I, of course didn’t want to miss out on a chance to party in Vegas so I joined the girls at Tao and Marquee on Thursday and Friday. Wedding was at the Planet Hollywood Chapel on Saturday, which I saw Bear for the first time the entire weekend. My dear friend Gordo helped with the table and cabana service on the party days.
Before heading to Indochine for our last date night dinner, we had some time so we decided to stop by our favorite social media influencer’s top ice cream spot. @FoodBABYNY
We got one waffle cone to share… carrot cake + corn bread ice cream. It was as delicious as it sounds.
On NYE we drove to Scottsdale, Arizona for an engagement/NYE party. Bear’s college friend is having a small destination wedding so they decided to combine the celebration of the New Year and their commitment to each other.
We woke up early and headed east, but on the way we stopped by the outlets!
I blew my entire $500 gift from grandpa in an hour. I could’ve spent more but Bear put me on a budget. 🙁
I found a few amazing pieces that I cannot wait to wear! Yippeeee!
It rained most of the day and all night and into the next day in Arizona.
It was super cold and not amusing.
I wore the same dress from my holiday party… I purchased it with the intention of wearing it for NYE and possibly my 35th birthday.
We had a great time, though the hotel we stayed at was sketchy. I was able to get a really nice photo in my raincoat. 😛
