Work attire. Meeting potential hires, trying to be business like but I realized most of my skirts are a bit short. Had to wear stockings with it. 🙂

Meal prepping has gotten me into a funk. I decided to get a spriralizer! I have to admit, eating healthy isn’t great but this made it worth while!
My week in PS was spent at the Colony Palms Hotel in Palms Springs. Out of all the hotels I’ve been to in PS, this is by far my favorite. It’s intimate, has great service, VALET, comfy beds and THE BEST CAESAR salad ever. I mean, their restaurant is called Purple Palm. 😛
This is my go to spot when I’m in town for work.
LA Art Show is always a great idea. One time out of the year where we get to experience and feel things we don’t typically see.
I love art, pop art especially. This year, there were so many amazing pieces that I wanted to take home with me. My favorite being the bear made of what looked like marbles. Little metallic balls joined to create a little teddy. Light as a feather too!
Our company hosts the VIP area and we get to go… what a fun night!
My dearest JL lent me her beautiful Vera Wang tulle dress for my work event. It was a hit!
She shipped it all the way from NY and I accessorized it with my Judith Leiber belt.
I’m so obsessed with this outfit, I’d wear it every day.
There’s a few more events I want to wear this to… I’m going to have to borrow it a couple more times! 😛
My 2017 started off much different than any of the years in the past. I have been ignited with intent and eagerness to be more than what I’ve been…
I’ll be 35 this year and I’ve always loved documenting everything. Last year when I bought my camera for over $700, my husband thought it was going to be the same as all my other possessions.
spend a shit ton of money on something and never play with it after the first day…
He was wrong and quite honestly, I was too.
I had no idea how long I would keep this for but as each video goes live, I sense the purpose of my existence.
“There are two important moments in your life. 1st, you’ll never remember, which is the day you are born. 2nd is the day your realize why you were born.”
Something of that nature… at my graduation, the keynote speaker, Benjamin Jealous made this statement. These were the only words I remembered from that morning.
I can’t say I have experienced my 2nd important moment, yet, however, I know it’s near.
I hope you are too… or have.
I deleted my personal facebook a while ago. I hated/hate it.
I recently deleted my facebook page couple months ago. My likes weren’t growing and it was pissing me off. I had given up.
For 2017, I really wanted to focus on my hobby… which is vlogging/blogging/sharing.
I decided to restart a facebook page, though I lost 1000+ followers…
I hope to figure out my existence and grow my social reach.
Now that I’m done with college I hope to have more time for me. 🙂
(Though college was me too!)
My vlog went live last week and while I was editing the video, I realized how much I craved Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken.
We visited the location while we were in Kansas in December. We were there for a wedding and I really wanted to do a feature on a non-LA establishment. However, during our meal, the waitress informed us that Gus’s opened an LA location.
Now I’ll have to go visit!
I had a very busy day ahead of me.I was meeting my colleague in Calabasas at our project at 7am, carpooling to Santa Barbara by 9am for a coffee meeting at 9:15am. Client meeting at 10am and heading back to Calabasas by 2pm for another client meeting and dinner at The Nice Guy for another colleagues birthday in the evening.
I decided to visit the Woodland Hills Equinox since I wanted to pass the bulk of the traffic in the am so I can be as close to Calabasas as I could be.
Woodland Hills location needs personal locks, Beverly Hills location has locks on the locker. I always carry a lock since I never know where I’ll be…
I locked my locker, worked out and came back to shower. Literally there were only 5 women in the gym. Granted it was 5am. I jumped into the shower around 6:20am. Got out and walked over to the locker to find it slightly open. My phone was gone, everything else was there. My fur coat, makeup bag, shoes, gym bag, cash.
I was horrified. I walked around the locker room to see if anyone was around. A lady was in there so I asked her if she saw anyone near my locker and if she could ask the receptionist if anyone brought it in.
I got dressed and ready as quickly as I could while I was panicking.
I went to the reception and started to tear because I was so upset. I asked if any females had left in the past 15 minutes and he said two had left.
I want to assume it was an employee because anyone at the gym at that time was not trying to steal things.
I filled out a form and had to be on my way, phoneless…
I was without a phone all day. I got to Calabasas and immediately shut my iphone off and reported it stolen.
They still have not turned it on.
I ended up going straight to an Apple store after I got done in Calabasas before my dinner. Century City had the jet black in 128GB. I had the matte black in 256GB iphone 7 plus in both.
I’m most annoyed about my passport card that was in my phone case.
Whomever stole my iphone will rot in hell.
I am so disappointed… so upset about the situation. Who would go into someones locker when closed… even though I forgot to put the lock on it while I went to shower, it was closed and they knew I was utilizing it so they invaded my space and stole it.
I hope they die.
On a side note…I’ve been to Equinox (all locations) many times where people have their things in the locker without a lock. I open it thinking it’s free and it’s not. I don’t fucking steal shit, I just close it and move onto the next.
The difference between people like me and people like them. Fucking scoundrels.
THANKS to CHASE…
I am able to get up to $500 reimbursed for my stolen phone up to 120 days from the order date. So if you’ve gotten something damaged or stolen, check with the cc you purchased it with on what the terms and conditions are through the protection plan.
I went and filed a police report as well, so I could send it in.
