I rushed to get it fixed because I would not be able to deal with a broken nail on my middle finger.
The camo is really growing on me, I almost want to do this every time but imaging the wait, I just want to kill myself.
Getting my mani and pedi has been a luxury. I started when I started my new job at the company about two years ago. I took a break since I couldn’t afford it and would always have to change my polish weekly. It was a chore.
Now it’s a chore to go every three weeks. I try to go once a month because spending $100ish dollars twice a month is not acceptable.
My usual gem mani and regular pedi is $87 +tip, this was $112 +tip.
Why am I covering my face? I initially started doing it because of my mustache tan from Cabo. This one artist that I like does it also because he doesn’t want people knowing what he looks like on social media. Maybe you’ve heard of him, Alec Monopoly. I love his stuff, you know me, I love the colorful Pop Art style, like Tom Everhart. I will continue to do this until my tan goes away. I hope it’s soon! 🙂
Took Tyler to my mom’s in the am so he can go to church and then Jo and I picked him up to take him home. His smile melts my heart.
Bear Baby’s cousin opened a gallery/store on Melrose and we came by to congratulate!
I was surprised by the turnout and the work that was on display. There were a lot of people who showed up to support and the work being shown all had their own talent and creativity.
I shot some photos of my favorites…
Bear Baby assumed it wouldn’t be a big turnout. He said to me while I was getting ready, “you don’t have to get all fancy, it’s just going to be a bunch of friends.” Friends or not, I already knew what to expect. Art gallery opening + Melrose Ave. + Saturday night = Probably a random but decent crowd. I RARELY get to go out with Bear Baby because he NEVER wants to do anything so any chance I get to do my hair and dress up in heels, I’m there.
This piece is mind-blowing. Something about the character and the words draw you in from the second you look at it. This is the piece that is above the front door. Art done by John Park, my favorites are his cardboard sculpture/headpiece/helmet thingys!! (You can see on his IG link).
Another beautiful piece… I really want that headpiece/mask.
these sculptures were interesting… not a personal favorite but definitely engaging. I couldn’t stop starring.
These were amusing…
I don’t remember what artwork this was but I thought the title was funny.
