One morning on the way to the gym my car crapped out. I spent the entire day out of the office dealing with crap. Luckily the BMW service guy was amazing, stuck me in a loaner and off I went. It took two days to fix it. What was wrong? IDK, something with the fan.
It’s crazy to think that life was so different…20, 15, 10, 5, 1 year ago.
My tagline for my blog… “riches to rags and dealing with it” was my way of handling the downward spiral of my life… fiscally. As for my morale and overall happiness, it has definitely been an upward bound. Never in a million years did I think that I’d be able to be in a situation where I was able to pay for my own luxury car. The two slips below are the BMWs that were leased under my name. Granted I was with an exer and the car was initially for him, my mom ended up covering the payments when they car came back to me. This is a funny sidenote… I remember that loser tried to claim that it was “his” car but covering the rest of the name minus the B to prove it. First of all, without credit in this country, you are nothing.
My situation right now isn’t ideal. I’m still working, however I am able to take accountability in the monetary choices I make. I think hard before a purchase. If my cart starts off at $2,000, by the time I actually purchase something, it has dwindled down to one item or nothing at all.
I’m completely transparent with Bear because he’s been the one really assisting me in keeping me accountable. If I don’t money, I don’t have money. I need to budget and allocate accordingly.
Bear’s car has been sitting for a while because we ran out of miles. I mean, of course we did. We freaking drive EVERYWHERE.
Bear got an email for a special… no disposition fee for the lease return before the end of the year.
The deal we got was fucking out of this world.
YiWen – Irvine BMW, CALL HIM. Tell him I referred, Duh!
2018 530i, sport line package with heated seats, rearview camera, navi. White exterior, black interior. Oh and guess what, now the interior lights have Violet color for the mood lighting. I love it!
Didn’t realize it didn’t have the trunk button and keyless until the next day when I drove the car. I was really annoyed. Now I for sure won’t want to drive his car. No keyless is fine for guys cause they always have the key on hand. As for me, it’s in my deep and wide Goyard where I have to dig through shit to find it. Luckily I have that big ass Snoopy Coach key chain, but still, it’s so annoying to grab it out of my purse so I can push a button. Who pushes buttons nowadays anyway???
So this happened NYEE. I picked up Troy after service and the conflicting signs guided me to reverse into spikes. So… I punctured the rear passenger tire. Thank GOD it wasn’t both rear tires or else I would’ve been out $600 instead of $300.
I had a great one I got for free through this Amazon deal, but the stickiness on the suction was not as effective so I decided to purchase one so I can continue my facetime activity on my way home from the office.
It’s almost time for a new car… we’ve been discussing possibilities for me and Bear said that the best option would be to get a diesel. My options are then, very limited, but we’ve narrowed it down to… well, just one vehicle.
The BMW 535d. White of course and well, sport, premium, the same options I have on Troy. Bear’s lease is almost up as well, so we are hoping to get an awesome deal on two vehicles as oppose to just one. 😛
You know how happy I am, since I hate Bear’s car and I love new things!!!
I will miss Maximus and maybe, I’ll name my next baby Maximus Jr. but until I meet the fellow, I won’t know what his name will be. It just comes to me, ya know? I will also miss the high mileage and the 10 gallon tank.
Run flats do not get plugged. I knew this. That’s why I went to a friend of a friend’s shop to get it done. If I had gone to a random tire shop, they would have had me pay for a new tire, which I knew I didn’t have to do. With all the construction going on around our home, I knew it was just our luck to get a huge as nail stuck in the tire. But once it starts to leak air, I will need to replace the tire. Looking to spend about $500, dammit! Maybe I should have gotten the tire protection when I signed the lease on Troy!
