So this happened NYEE. I picked up Troy after service and the conflicting signs guided me to reverse into spikes. So… I punctured the rear passenger tire. Thank GOD it wasn’t both rear tires or else I would’ve been out $600 instead of $300.
Twice in one week… When you insist on having your wife take your car, please have the tank filled so she doesn’t have to go through the trouble of stopping by a gas station. After the tire incident this made me so furious again, in the am on my way to the office. In the am, I said I was going to take Maximus. He should’ve just let me take the Prius since I just filled up the tank the day before! He was super insistent on me taking Betty White. As soon as I got in the car, I freaking had fire coming out of my ears. Seriously. I hate things like this… and he knows it. I hope I got mad enough at him for him to remember never to do it again. 😛
Annual tradition. Started with my dad and now it’s just me. Thanks to Frederick, we got freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee tickets. We waited til last minute to go. Sunday at 5:30pm. Literally 1.5 hours before it closed.
Is it just me or it keeps getting worse and worse for the premium automakers?
I noticed that others had more interactive booths and even ride and drives. I guess it makes sense since the common folk isn’t going to purchase the Bentley or the Aston Martin. They definitely catered towards the commoners.
The Porsche exhibit hall had a name change… interesting. 🙂
We were in and out in less than an hour. I just wanted to see my favorite automakers and I was out. It was nice to walk over from the apartment. It stopped raining and we got lucky. We walked over to #YardHouse after and by the time we were done, it was pouring. I didn’t have a jacket or an umbrella. We both got under Bear’s jacket and swiftly walked home. I managed to stay dry. 😛
Thanks Fred and Terry for the invite… you know I can never say no to an open bar… even though it’s beer. 😛 (Can you believe it, I drank more than a cup of beer).
And of course when I don’t bring a jacket, the event is held outside. I have the worst luck in dressing for the occasion.
The party was fun and it was great to see faces I had seen all year during #FormulaD. Finally got a chance to catch up with my two favorite drivers. During the #FD events, they’re too busy racing and focusing and I’m too busy setting up and being hospitable.
Los Angeles Auto Show is this week and another year I won’t be missing it. I was able to get tickets for the show… THANK YOU!
Sent in an RSVP for movie night at the Petersen Automotive Museum few weeks back. Cars 2 was screening and I know how much Tyler loves the Cars films.
He was happy about it and it was the perfect way to spend the day. I of course made the family leave right before the end of the movie since I didn’t want to leave with everyone else. Traffic and bottlenecking is irritating.
I wish we had been able to have our wedding here. It would’ve been my ideal place. Too bad it’s so freaking expensive!
Whenever Tyler falls asleep in the backseat of my car, I feel bad that he has to wake up to a sore neck. Another important factor is that when he leans over to the center, it is not safe if I were to get into an accident!
I saw this deal and had to share to all the mommies!
