I think the bet I made with my husband is a scrap. I def. will lose which is fine because I won’t have to pay him. It was only an incentive if I won… I would have gotten $1,000. I needed to go to the gym 175 times in 2017. I’ve only got 55 times so far.

Actually I just calculated… there are 171 days left in the year and I need to go 120 days… around 5/week. I need to get back to working out anyway.

Will start Monday!

The day my phone was stolen… @Equinox #DoingJim

I had a very busy day ahead of me.I was meeting my colleague in Calabasas at our project at 7am, carpooling to Santa Barbara by 9am for a coffee meeting at 9:15am. Client meeting at 10am and heading back to Calabasas by 2pm for another client meeting and dinner at The Nice Guy for another colleagues birthday in the evening.

I decided to visit the Woodland Hills Equinox since I wanted to pass the bulk of the traffic in the am so I can be as close to Calabasas as I could be.

Woodland Hills location needs personal locks, Beverly Hills location has locks on the locker. I always carry a lock since I never know where I’ll be…

I locked my locker, worked out and came back to shower. Literally there were only 5 women in the gym. Granted it was 5am. I jumped into the shower around 6:20am. Got out and walked over to the locker to find it slightly open. My phone was gone, everything else was there. My fur coat, makeup bag, shoes, gym bag, cash.

I was horrified. I walked around the locker room to see if anyone was around. A lady was in there so I asked her if she saw anyone near my locker and if she could ask the receptionist if anyone brought it in.

I got dressed and ready as quickly as I could while I was panicking.

I went to the reception and started to tear because I was so upset. I asked if any females had left in the past 15 minutes and he said two had left.

I want to assume it was an employee because anyone at the gym at that time was not trying to steal things.

I filled out a form and had to be on my way, phoneless…

I was without a phone all day. I got to Calabasas and immediately shut my iphone off and reported it stolen.

They still have not turned it on.

I ended up going straight to an Apple store after I got done in Calabasas before my dinner. Century City had the jet black in 128GB. I had the matte black in 256GB iphone 7 plus in both.

I’m most annoyed about my passport card that was in my phone case.

Whomever stole my iphone will rot in hell.

I am so disappointed… so upset about the situation. Who would go into someones locker when closed… even though I forgot to put the lock on it while I went to shower, it was closed and they knew I was utilizing it so they invaded my space and stole it.

I hope they die.

On a side note…I’ve been to Equinox (all locations) many times where people have their things in the locker without a lock. I open it thinking it’s free and it’s not. I don’t fucking steal shit, I just close it and move onto the next.

The difference between people like me and people like them. Fucking scoundrels.

I am able to get up to $500 reimbursed for my stolen phone up to 120 days from the order date. So if you’ve gotten something damaged or stolen, check with the cc you purchased it with on what the terms and conditions are through the protection plan.

I went and filed a police report as well, so I could send it in.

#DoingJim @Equinox #HuntingtonBeach

Do you know what’s better than having an Equinox membership? Being able to go to a new Equinox with an ocean view! I was so impressed by the Huntington Beach club. We came in on a Saturday (thank God since it was empty) and enjoyed our workout with the view of the sandy beach. I never imagined myself to live in Huntington Beach until I got to Equinox. Anything new is great but the way Equinox does it… it’s stupendous. Their brand standards are one to go by. I am super impressed by their ability to grow and keep up with the trend and lifestyle. It’s too bad my husband doesn’t work there anymore, but at the same time it’s not like I got any perks. 😛

@NauticaMalibuTr #NauticaMalibuTri GO @PinkTerry!

When a friend is entering her first triathlon, you go and support. As much as I wanted to sleep in and not wake up at the crack of dawn, I decided to go… for her and for me.

    1. I could get used to waking up really early – for me
    2. I could go and support my friend – for her

I woke up around 3am and headed to South Bay to carpool. I took a mini nap on the way since PCH was starting to get some traffic. I packed the camo chair that I used at Tyler’s soccer games and brought a backpack with snacks, water, clothes and things to keep me busy. What I forgot was my damn external charger. Actually, I brought it in my purse but not in my backpack as we trekked down to the beach.

As I watched the sun come up and the people walk by with gears and outfits, I had a moment. All this emotion filled up and I was so proud of my friend. I almost teared up thinking about the achievement that she was going to accomplish in a few hours and how amazing all these people were to want to do something great for themselves.

I almost had a moment where I thought I would want to participate next year, but who knows. Maybe if I attend another triathlon next year, near this time, to bring the same emotions that were felt at the Nautica Malibu Triathlon.

I was happy for my friend. I was not happy THAT I MISSED HER RUNNING PAST ME, SO CLOSE TO THE FINISH LINE, because I was looking for her and the moment she was coming, another Asian girl was a few feet in front with a shit ton of makeup that it distracted me!!!!! I was so mad I didn’t get a shot, but I was so happy that I was there to see her when she finished.

The amount of strength, passion and drive that she has is incomparable to anything I have done for myself in my lifetime. Watching her accomplish this has made me reevaluate my life and my actions. I am not even close to being a 1/4 of who she is and she inspires me to work on myself constantly and be a better person… for me, and nobody else.

If you need some pick me up in your life, I suggest that you volunteer at an event like this or surround yourself with friends like this. Terry, I’m so proud of you and so honored to have you as my friend! xxooxoxo

#DoingJim @Equinox #SouthBay

We made our Sunday Funday all about being healthy and fit. Well, until we decided to order a bottle of Brut Rose for brunch.

It was a very productive day. I woke up at 8am, got ready and picked up Jo by 9am. We drove to South Bay Equinox to pick up Terry and drove to Pressed Juicery in Manhattan Beach. We waited a short while and then drove back to Equinox to work out!

I managed to do 30 minutes on the stairmaster and some pushups.

At least I burned 300 calories. A portion of what I ended up eating that day.
