I had a pair of F21 combat boots I got for $15 a while back and I’m so bummed I threw them away, but I had to get a new pair for Paris.
Came across these and I had to get it!
Paris in two weeks, YAY!
My first visit to this hotel was back in 2005. I was taken to The Polo Lounge for lunch one day and from that moment, my life had changed. I loved the feeling of arriving into a grand entrance. Not that I’m a fan of pink, but the hotel is pink with accents that remind me of South of France or some chic European setting.
Every corner of the hotel is exquisite and the service is impeccable. I giggle and tingle every time I get a change to visit.
Only thing I’d add to this establishment is that I’d wish they served my vodka.
For my male colleagues. Pretty cute and funny!
The most amazing structures are in France and the emotions I felt are so unspeakable. I am so happy to have been a part of this trip and to see and understand a different culture unknown to me has opened my eyes! Every moment of the trip I wanted to experience something new, my mind was expanding and I realized how much I had been living in a bubble. There is nothing greater than traveling and exploring. Each second was memorable and everlasting.
We first stopped by to pick up our wifi and headed over to the Louvre.
The museum was spectacular in architecture and exhibits. We even took a selfie with the #MonaLisa! 😛
Sorry I didn’t upload it but I’ve been really slacking on my blogging and I don’t have the energy to go back and download from my Paris album and upload to my site. 😦
The weather was perfect in Paris, not too cold and sunny! We were so scared that we would be freezing our butts off but we didn’t!
We rented a 2-BR Airbnb place in St. Germain and we arrived around noon on Wednesday.
We quickly freshened up and headed out into the city to start our adventure!
I bought a converter on Amazon which ended up working pretty well. It had multiple outlets and two USB plug capabilities.
I got a hip-sack for Paris and the site had free shipping for $100 or more so I added a few more things in my cart.
I didn’t take a photo of the hip-sack (fanny pack) cause my room is a mess, but it is so fucking awesome. Usually I don’t like their stuff cause it has the Herschel logo everywhere, but this one didn’t and the fabric was in velvet, so it looked designer-ish and fashionable. Def. something I strive for, to be chic and put together.
I love that it has a bunch of compartments for cards and such so I don’t have to carry a wallet with it. 🙂
I wanted to take a carry on only so I can travel easily but guess I’ll have to figure out another way to take everything I need. 😦
It’s so hard to travel to a place I’ve never been. I’ve been given some pointers but I can’t be too sure about the weather which is really irritating.
I know it’ll be cold as fuck but maybe not that cold? I have been to NY when it was freezing. I want to take my leather trench but my wool trench may be better, I want to actually take both but it takes up too much space.
