@ROYALS & @LAKINGS

Probably had the most fun doing sports related things. Watched the KC playoffs game at Tom’s Urban and then headed to the LA Kings game after.

They both won and we got shitfaced. 😛

LA Kings games are so fun. My first was in a suite and this time we sat so close and the energy was awesome!

@LAKings Game @StaplesCenter

We enjoyed a very suspenseful game sitting in the box suites at the Staples Center with plenty of food and drinks. I opted to stick to water since I didn’t want to be hungover the next day. 😛

The game started out with the Kings up 2-0, they tied in 2nd and was up by one point in the 3rd. 45 seconds left of 3rd, the Kings scored and they went into OT!

Nobody scored in OT so they had a shoot out and the Kings ended up winning the game! It was literally the perfect game to attend! My first #LAKINGS game, ever!

Thanks for the walk… @staplescenter

We put on our shoes and walked over to the Staples Center.

Bear won a raffle at work and was given two seats in the suite for tonight’s game.

We didn’t realize until we were getting scanned.

The guy with the thing in the hand looked closely at the tickets and said it was for the next game!

Of course I asked why he didn’t check it when he got it.

No comment.

Either way, I’m glad I was able to get in thy little exercise after dinner.

I didn’t eat much for lunch.

I didn’t bring the visor and I’m not sure if I want to go to the next one. If there is a next one.

Oh on the walk over there, a gentleman selling shirts walked over to us. We were waiting for the crosswalk and he asked if we wanted to buy a shirt or two to wear it inside. I was caught off guard but told him that I wasn’t even a fan, that I didn’t even care. He laughed, I laughed, Bear laughed.

It was a but awkward.

Oh and he showed me his email. Subject has TONIGHT specified.

Oh well!

@BatmanLiveTour with Tyler!

Thanks to LivingSocial, I was able to find this deal…

Tyler loves all Superheros and I knew that he would enjoy this show so I bought 2 tickets for Sunday at 4pm. I paid a little more to get the premiere seating because who wants to sit far away while watching theater?

I was surprised to see all the empty seats around us and throughout the Staples Center. I’m not sure if the 8pm show got cancelled because there weren’t enough tickets purchased or because they had issues with the show.

Tyler was at the edge of his seat the whole entire time. He didn’t say one word to me during the show because he was glued to the acrobats and the fight scenes which ended up being the whole performance. There wasn’t a moment of dullness while the performers were on stage.

Even though 10 minutes before the show ended, they had technical difficulties and were off stage for 15 minutes, it didn’t deter Tyler’s attention from stage. He waiting patiently and quietly (thanks to the iPad).

I would totally recommend this show to families with children over 5. Hopefully you can catch one near you!

Tyler kept thanking me for taking him to the show and even though I was tired and wanted to leave the very second they announced their “technical difficulty”, seeing Tyler’s face during and after made it all worthwhile.
